I'd like to chime in on this! I'm going to share a very real experience that to this day has left me rattled and open to the possibilities of the
unknown.
While I say this with much reserve I will detail exactly what happened to me, I am a very skeptical person and as such would expect you to also have
your doubts! Here goes-
Roughly 8 1/2 yrs ago I used to be a Sales and Leasing Consultant for a Ford Dealership in the Southern California area. A typical busy day after
having sold a vehicle one of my peers invited me to go to lunch (Subway). My co-worker offered to drive. As we were headed to the restaurant we were
talking business and at the same time he was filtering through the different radio stations when he finally landed on one he liked. As we were talking
a song came on the radio U-2 "I still haven't found what I'm looking for!" I remember singing it in my head because it was a catchy tune. We
finally arrived at Subway got out of the car and promptly headed to make line. As such the line was extremely long as expected during lunch hour. I
remember seeing the line and looking at all the patrons when all of a sudden from all the bunch I noticed three odd looking girls dressed in gothic
black, long black hair, black nails, black lipstick the works. They were at the front of the line. I waited in line with my co-worker for what seemed
a couple of minutes when I decided to take a cigarette break outside, while my co-worker progressed through the line. I was standing on the side walk
facing the parking lot enjoying my cigarette and quietness with my back against the restaurant. The song I had heard in the car popped into my head
and I was singing in my mind. I heard the door open and turned my head to glance and it was the three gothic girls exiting. They walked away normally
for about 10 steps, yes I was watching them, who wouldn't look, the way they looked, needless to say one of them stopped in their tracks the other
followed suit they turned around stared me straight in the eyes, paused for what seemed minutes but more accurately seconds and finally one broke
loose and sang "I still haven't found what I'm looking for!" All the girls laughed, I damn near pissed myself!!!! I immediately ran in the
restaurant to see if they had a radio playing somewhere, ran back out to see if perhaps music was playing yet I knew everything was quiet and my back
was facing the restaurant and most importantly the song was in my mind and I didn't even move my lips. From that point forward my day was shot, I
felt violated to a certain extent to think that people out there actually possess the power to read your mind. I don't feel comfortable telling this
story at all around my family or friends because of how absurd it seems, but let me tell you this is as real as it gets! You'll never know the
feeling I'm referring to until it happens to you-
