Chart of The Ages origin to Pyramid symbol?

The image of a pyramid with a radiating capstone is often associated with secret societies, and is found everywhere from inside secret lodges to the 1 dollar bill.



Now, there is something called The Chart of The Ages, which is used in bible studies and that chart shows (what I postulate is) the same pyramid - and it even explains what the different levels are.
