Stumbled upon this today, thought I'd share....

1) Emergency

The worldwide emergency number is 112. If you dial it, the phone will search for any network connection to make the call. It can even be dialed if the keypad is locked!

2) Unlock your car (if another remote is with another)

On many RKE (Remote Keyless Entry) cars, you can hold your cell about a foot from your car door, after calling someone who has a remote (like your spouse). If the call is open, and the spouse hits the unlock into their phone, should unlock your door.

EDIT: This one appears to be false.

3) Hidden battery power

Press the keys #4720# (on some brands of phone) and you'll access a small reserve of power on the phone, showing an increase in the battery (but at the expense of sound quality). The reserve will charge when you normally charge the phone.

4) Disable a stolen phone

Press #06# and this will generate a 15 digit code. Keep this handy, so if your phone is stolen, you can call your phone provider, give them the number, and it will prevent anyone from using the phone (even if they change the SIM card).

5) Free 411.

You can call (800) FREE 411 instead of paying for the directory assistance fee.

EDIT: Updated these with some additional info.

On #2, I can't fathom how that would work.

I don't know of any keyless entry systems that use sound, and sounds are the only thing that's going to be carried from one phone to the other. It's not like the phone will relay VHF bursts for you.

Also, I don't think there is any reserve power in the form of some actual storage - at least there's not in my development system cell phones. I suppose you could command the lithium management hardware to let the cell run to depletion, destroying it. We put this in a military "laptop" as a feature a couple of times - buy 15 more minutes of operation at the expense of destroying the pack - but I can't imagine doing that with a consumer item.

(peeks)

Ah - here ya go: from snopes

EDIT: OP beat me to it and removed it...

This hoax was tested and busted by Mythbusters

It is also listed as an urban legend / email hoax by About.com

The only way you can use a phone to unlock a car is by throwing it through the window or calling someone who can bring a spare key.

I think I can add to your list of cellphone uses:

Reactive targets. They disintegrate pretty darn good with a .45.
