It is my contention the idea of Global Government along with nwo simply the John Birch society spin on what is really best described especially by those of on the left as One World Corporation.
The Russian, spanish based Investigative researcher Daniel Estulin has suggested this is actually what we be calling it and thinking of it as.

The JBS is basically a secret society for fascists masquerading as patriots. It is run by a bunch of anti-American traitors who want to destroy everything the US stands for, including civil rights and free enterprise.

The JBS is also anti-capitalist and strongly opposed to the free market economy. Ayn Rand warned people about this nearly 50 years ago, when she said:

Every now and then the JBS tries to tell us that the UN wants to impose a global government. They first started coming out with this crap nearly 60 years ago. I'm still waiting for the evidence...

Every now and Again? More like everyday of every week via Alex Jones and David Icke etc... the only difference between the two that i can see is that AJ at least admits he is libertarian Icke cant even bring himself to admit he is libertarian.I assume icke will soon become an official PR man for Nigel Farage UKIP just like AJ is for the Pauls in the US. Hopefully Aus never gets one these stupid parties our neo liberal party is bad enough and on the verge of being elected due to an opposition being infiltrated by Lassie fair ideas of their own plus too much infighting to be considered crediable opposition.
