This was already posted but hey, still a great read.

I am going to go with Klerksdorp spheres. These things move on their own and are putting out wattage. They are over 1 million years old. They opened one up and found nothing but porous material inside much like a sponge that crumbled once it came in contact with air.

And so they found some rocks under a temple. And lo, half the people of
Earth wanted to call the rocks orbs and the other half wanted to call the rocks
spheres.

Now the world was divided and lo, a great war broke out among the people of Earth.
As they could not come to agreement over what to call the rocks. And the war was
called Armageddon

The End

I suspect that like most others reading this article and viewing the provided pictures there is a distinct sense of disappointment at being met with photos of shapeless blobs of lumpy rocks embedded in a cave floor. Nothing spherical or metallic visible.

those man made roundish things that were later oxidized to look bright/ yellow

were put there not to symbolize 'eggs' as one keen poster said...(quite a nice theory)

but those orbs/ spheres (roundish objects) beneath the temple of the feathered serpent pyramid
are symbolic of the 'fallen stars' or fallen Angels/ Nephilim of other traditions...
the Aztecs also had something similar & thats the symbolism of the 'bright stars' on the cavern floor

the actual return of the 'feathered Serpent' will re-invigorate the hidden 'Nephilim' which are symbolized as the shiny orbs...fallen stars that are presently confined to the bowels of the Earth

............................................................. tell us, how did you get all of that out of this article... did you see pictures that i didnt? fallen stars/ angels? care to provide links to to share with the class? or is that speculation

Funny that this republican rag website is showing some archeological stuff on it...when I think of orbs I'm thinking spherical and I'm not able to get a sense of how circular these objects really are or are they just ore type deposits that may have been smelted..interesting post...thanks

Why is it, no matter what the topic is about, Democrats, Socialists, Communist's and their affiliates always seem to have to make some kind of off the cuff verbal assault against people they disagree with?

P.S

Most people who veer towards the right or align with the right, are often life learners in their private off time, and enjoy intellectual topics. Unlike the left, there is little to no group think on the right(mostly, neocons and socons though are a lost cause), so that means we don't rely on others to do our thinking for us. That fits in with the like of intellectually stimulation, as continual intellectual stimulation makes it easier over time to think for yourself.

As per the story, I wonder what the metallic looking objects are made of, as that might fill us into their importance and purpose(maybe). Only thing that comes to mind is maybe it is some kind of wishing well, or honoring place were they take the metallic orbs and leave them there?

lol I was hoping for that too.

I find it annoying when the first thing out of an archaeologists mouth in an interview about a new find is "We believe object x was used in rituals". Ugh. It's the catch-all explanation of archaeology "rituals" It's one thing to find cooking implements or tools and say what they were used for. But if it's incomprehensible? Rituals.

Maybe it's a giant abacus.

technically anything could be a ritual. In our society children ritually go to a place where they assemble to learn propaganda.

Definition of Ritual as defined by www.merriam-webster.com...

Definition of RITUAL
1
: of or relating to rites or a ritual : ceremonial
2
: according to religious law
3
: done in accordance with social custom or normal protocol

So in reality they aren't telling lies, they are just using clever language so the general public doesn't catch on that they have no clue.
