Talk about covering ones tracks. Something smells awful here. Coincidence? Possibly, but when there are so many coincidental dead people surrounding Obama and his administration one has to ask what the hell is going on here.

This link has been posted in a few threads but I want to throw it out for those that missed it.

And yet another one. First allow me to say R.I.P Commander Price and thank you for your service. With that said, far to many training accidents and unfortunate incidents have all but decimated this team imho. I do not know what to make of any of these events however I will say that personally through all I have read, studied etc. am in the camp that OBL was long dead before this all to convenient raid took place. Another tragic loss no matter what the cause of an all things considered outstanding soldier ......

That is all

Misleading article much? It lumps every Seal Team 6 death with the Osama bin Laden raid, which is so far from the truth it isn't even funny. The two seals that were in the parachuting accident had nothing to do with the raid, neither did all those in the CH-47 shootdown that took place a few weeks later.

The Seal Teams aren't one big entity. Seal Team 6 (also known as DEVGRU) is made up of multiple squadrons, each of which is a sub unit under the Team 6 umbrella. It's the same with all the Teams. The members of the raid were chosen from various teams, and pulled into one amalgamated team for the express purpose of that raid.

As for Commander Job, other than a few articles there is nothing to indicate that he "found and killed" bin Laden. No one on the Team has positively been identified, and the only one that I know of was known as "The Shooter" (although his story supposedly didn't quite match up to others on the raid).

The raid was carried out by Red Squardon, DEVGRU is made up of Red, Blue, Silver and Gold, which are assault teams, Black which is Recon and Surveillance, and Gray which are the small boat crews. Each of those squadrons are split into three troops, THOSE are split into the smaller teams that perform the operations.

I think this qualifies as one of the most misleading titles I have read in quite some time.

Firstly it was the American intelligence apparatus that “found” Bin Laden the Navy SEALs had nothing to do with finding him in fact technically they had nothing to do with assassinating him either.

It was members of DEVGRU (SEAL Team Six to the layperson) who conducted Operation Neptune Spear. SEAL Team four had nothing to do with it, the Navy SEALS and DEVGRU are two separate units.

I would also point out that he committed suicide last year so this is hardly new news and if you do a search you will find several threads on his death.

Really there are so many problems with the first link I don’t know where to start.

Its just all wrong, I think some members really need to start checking out there facts before posting.

Just for fun, I am going to go through it and highlight each and every mistake in this article

Lets start with the title.

SEAL Team 4 Commanding Officer Best Known For Finding & Then Killing Osama Bin Laden Commits Suicide

As I have said above the most misleading title ever, it was the American intelligence community that found Bin Laden. The deceased is best known for being the commander of SEAL Team Four, a very horrible position but he had diddly squat to do with the assassination of Bin Laden, I challenge any one to prove otherwise.

25 members of the team who allegedly killed Bin Laden are dead.

Not true and no evidance to back it up

He was best known for finding and then killing Osama bin Laden.

no, he wasnt!

as the team was best known for killing Osama Bin Laden that assaulted his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan on May 1, 2011.

DEVGRU and SEAL Team four are not the same unit.

Over 20 navy seals are now dead who killed bin laden, coincedence?

Errr above they said it was 25, some inconsistencies here I think.

and to finish a previous ATS thread (that also doesnt know the differance between DEVGRU and SEALs)

It's actually all open source. You can find it on various sites online, from Wiki, to military sites, to just people that follow the SOF culture.

I've been a follower of the military since I was a kid (grew up an Air Force brat that was immersed into the culture a lot more than most people that are in the military), but when the "Seal Team being killed off" stories started coming out, I really started digging into the Seals a lot more.

I think I have mentioned this to you before, but I have had a avid interest in Special Forces for years and to me DEVGRU is having the same problem that 22SAS had after Operation Nimrod. All of a sudden everyone knows about SEAL Team Six whereas before they probably know nothing about the unit other than that they “exist” as a Special Forces unit. Now after their big moment of fame with operation Neptune spear and every media outlet is writing about them because that’s what their readers want and 80% of it is utter crap.

they have became a victam of thier own sucsess

To people like you and I on ATS who have been following DEVGRU since way before Neptune Spear it can be infuriating reading some of the dribble that the media have been writing and the stuff that people have been posting.

That's exactly what happened. Suddenly EVERYONE knows Seal Team 6, whereas before Neptune Spear it was just Seal and no one had the slightest clue how they were organized. It drives me nuts how EVERY death in any Seal Team is suddenly Seal Team 6 being assassinated.

All witnesses to the big lie non-event that was the elimination of OBL are being eliminated. It doesn't matter if they were supposed to have been on site; if they were supposed to have known someone who allegedly had participated; if they overheard conversations in which denials about the non-event were made; ST guys who were supposed to have been on the ship when OBL's non-body was dumped into the sea. It doesn't matter - they will all be eliminated - either in a group as with the alleged helicopter shoot-down - or individually.

Anyone who denies this is either a lummox, is in terminal denial that our government would ever do such things as kill their 'enemies,' OR (more significantly) is a cover-up specialist working on the Cognitive Infiltration team run by John Holdren, (sometimes working w/Cass Sunstein), whose specific mission it is to infiltrate and disrupt on line websites that dare to discuss matters such as these.

BTW - don't be surprised if wives and/or girlfriends start disappearing or being suicided as well.

You do realise by your logic they would pretty much have to kill off all of DEVGRU and a good chunk of 160th SOAR as wel oh and a whole bunch of CIA officers.

None of the SEALs on the helicopter crash ( I assume you mean Extortion 17) took part in Neptune Spear just so as you know and the guy who committed Suicide discussed in the OP was not part of the operation either, he wasn’t even in the same unit.

Then why hasn't just about every Seal been eliminated yet? Do you have any idea how big Seal Team 6 is if you just count people that know someone who knows someone who knows something about it? There were 80 people on the raid itself (before you count 160th SOAR, MC-130 crews, ground crews, UAV pilots/sensor operators that were on overwatch, etc), so that means they have a lot of catching up to do.

First of all Rest in peace Brother, just how often does the government expect to get away with such blatant murder?,yes I know silly bloody question, hopefully some of his fellow SEAL team members will dig into this and demand justice on his behalf, absolutely sickening.

Seal team 6 or 4 is a misnomer because it makes people think
of these tiny elite group as being 6 people I guess, but there really are about
80-100 commandos in that team alone.
It is strange though.

BREAKING NEWS.....
Yet another mysterious death associated with the Bin Laden raid..

The dog that accompanied seal team six on Operation Neptune Spear has died.

His death was a reported officialy as a non combat related accident whilst serving in Afghanistan.

Apparantly the official report states the helicopter the dog was piloting was victim of a mechanical failure (caused by the impact of a missile.)

Mechanics at the base where his helicopter was last inspected said they couldn't understand what had caused the failure as they'd inspected the helicopter only 30 minutes before lift off and are sure that no missile was in stuck in the rotor, at least on their turn...
