I have been going over some funny signs seen it the stands. I thought it might make a fun thread, ( we need some fun after yesterday). At first I planed to limit it to sporting events, I changed my mind. This thread is open to any signs you have seen protest signs, ad's, or simple statement's put up by people.

Watch your TC's, let's just have some fun. You can probably make a statement of you own with your choice.

I have posted this before, I like it I'll use any excuse to post it again.

i nearly did not notice a hulking great, bright yellow beepatronic forklift truck in front of my face last week. luckily it had this 6" square warning sign on it:

phew! disaster averted, thanks Health and Safety Executive

and then there is the everlasting genius of defaced and/or photoshopped election billboards - sadly i doubt this one appeared in the street, but it's the first time i saw this effort so i just had to share:

nice thread

I don't have a picture to post, but I was driving around the other day and stopped at a stop sign that had "collaborate and listen" written underneath it. Made me laugh pretty hard.

They are great lol.

I did like one i saw a while back, it was of a little kid carrying a sign at a protest, i think he was a toddler on his fathers shoulders, the sign read, "I was told there'd be biscuits!"

Hey Skalla

One thing that I find Ironic in the states, is how stupid the Government can be while trying to educate us.

Sorry struggling to figure out how to put this image up, hope the link works.
This sign is funny because it has to be the most pointless of them all.

brilliant

we have some rather amusing street names and road signs over this side of the pond...
[SNIP]

there is a street not far from me called "Bell End" - does this translate in the US? well, anyway, there was a petrol/service station there, and if you made a purchase, your receipt would say "Bell End Services"

They are funny.

I especially like the pretty English cottage garden in the background, like an attempt to take the attention off of the "Slutshole Lane" sign.

This sign was put up between a supermarket and a housing estate in Wales

Unfortunately the actual translation reads:

"I'm not in the office at the moment. Send any work to be translated. "

Oh dear.....someone didn't consult a Welsh speaker on that one.
