Oh no not an other Korea thread , in a way yes, this deals with the possibility Un is dead???. Just give it a sec, follow me along with this.

Not a day goes by that there is no Un pic in KCNA news, it is Un this or Un that in person, with pics but for a few weeks now no where is he seen the latest is April 1st and on the 10th KCNA has this www.kcna.kp... form the link

The Great Sun of Songun Korea
Korean / English / Chinese / Spanish / Japanese
Pyongyang April 10 (KCNA) -- Respected Marshal Kim Jong Un makes a ceaseless journey of Songun (military-first) leadership to defend the socialist country, legacy left by the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, and the dignity of the nation and provide its people with better living conditions. -0-
so where is he? No pics no mention of what area he is in and then they say this when referring to him, [ note the wording ] this is the eye opener

Pyongyang, March 31 (KCNA) -- Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Marshal Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, Sunday visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun together with members of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee and members of the Party Central Military Commission prior to the plenary meeting of the WPK Central Committee and paid tribute to the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
now look at this wording

Pyongyang, April 13 (KCNA) -- The respected Marshal Kim Jong Un sent educational aid fund and stipends amounting to 198.3 million yen to the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan on the occasion of the 101st anniversary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung for the democratic national education of children of Koreans in Japan.
now there is this

Pyongyang, April 13 (KCNA) -- A birthday spread sent by the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un was conveyed to woman centenarian Ri Ul Rim residing in Ryonbong-dong No. 1 in Hyesan City, Ryanggang Province.
was he executed for giving aid to people in Japan? Not once have they mentioned him in that way "Dear respected" it has always been long drawn out praise then it became short and sweet, as if saying "your not the leader any more" an other thought, Did he lose the nerve to push the big read button? Could it be they now need some one to take his place? And is willing to push the button. Or have i been on ATS to long?

The link is in Korean. I don't see anywhere on your post that says he's dead and has been executed for giving aid to Japan. You might be reading in to it too much.

where do you see him giving aid to Japan ?
or are you thinking the Ryangang Province is in Japan ?
according to the map, it's in NK near the China border.

and no, i don't believe he's dead, he is likely in closed-door meetings with Russian agents.

ps ... your link does open in Korean (for some of us i suppose)
however, from reading your excerpts, i still don't see the 'aid to Japan' anywhere.

I take it that you did not read this, form my opening

Pyongyang, April 13 (KCNA) -- The respected Marshal Kim Jong Un sent educational aid fund and stipends amounting to 198.3 million yen to the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan on the occasion of the 101st anniversary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung for the democratic national education of children of Koreans in Japan.
now do you see where he gave aid to people in Japan? here I simplified it for you

sent educational aid fund and stipends amounting to 198.3 million yen to the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan
This would be a no no in the DPRK eye's, Korean or not, it is aid to a enemy state, land, and Country.

Errrr, did you do any research on the phrase " dear respected Marshall"?
He's been called that many times, even in KCNA articles.

uh, yes, it provides funding for Koreans in Japan, however, that isn't the same as funding Japan (as you insinuated)

and no, i don't follow your insinuation, you'd have to prove that one.

www.japantimes.co.jp...

The Tokyo District Court said Friday it has allowed a Buddhist temple with ties to North Korea to acquire the Tokyo headquarters of the pro-Pyongyang General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon).

Chongryon’s head office has served as North Korea’s de facto embassy in Japan in the absence of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Last June, RCC received a final court ruling in a separate suit that confirmed the effective owner of the headquarters and the land is Chongryon itself, not the company officially registered as the owner.

i could be wrong but i think having a NKorean embassy (even a de facto one) in Japan would indicate cooperation between the countries on some level, wouldn't you agree ?

If I was playing this game, I'd be looking for a sturdy bunker around now. Just incase the other side takes him seriously. With China now annoyed (think of them like the Hulk here), he may be thinking "hmmm lets get nice and cosey"

I would have to agree with the others. I don't think he's dead. You would have to find stronger indications.

He says NK is in a "war" position, so he has to disappear from public view, otherwise he's a target for a surgical strike on NK. They know they have to keep his exact location secret. If he makes public appearances in this so-called crisis, he could get smoked by a cruise or something. That's the nature of a surgical strike.

I think you're misreading the full title of the group. If there exists an association called US Citizens in Mexico, but the branch where Obama funded the aid is actually in New York, the situation would be parallel.

No need to be rude, the link (and i just checked again) is still in Korean. All I was saying is i don't see anywhere in what you posted, since I can't read korean, that says he was executed. I'm not seeing it.

KCNA is not a real news outlet, it is a hub of propaganda. When Kimmy says 'Send aid to ....' what he really means is 'You must believe _____ needs our aid because we have a better standard of living.'

Perhaps he has been having plastic surgery so that he can live the high life in Miami when he has accomplished the bidding of his handlers? It would be a shame to change the appearance of his wife though, she's hot! Meh - he's probably tired of her now, spoilt brat.

He should be out in public tomorrow (15 April) celebrating the birth of his grandfather, the patriarch of Korean communism,....if not then you could ask your question - otherwise it is premature.

He is not dead. He is probably in a bunker somewhere,. probably in the NK capital which i reckon underneath which lies a vast bunker. I suspect tomorrow we will see a missile launch or SOMETHING happen to coincide with this birthday bash of theirs. He does not want to get caught up in the blast that will surely follow.

Another alternative is that he is in Bejing getting told off by the powers that be there for being a very naughty boy. And so is being re educated....

Is Kim Jong Un dead??,

Unfortunatley .. no. I'm sure he's alive and still very kooky.
If he were dead, the North Korean machine would have said so.
They'd use his death for propaganda purposes .. and stir up the
North Korean Lil Kim-zombies that love him so much ...

I would expect to see a military coup by the end of the year followed by the removal of nukes from NK and a massive supply of aid sent to that country.

If Un is not dead yet I'm sure its in the works.
