Its not bad. You might want to work on the "like oily tears in the sea" line. Need something that accentuates "toxic". Like "acid on rose petals".

Oh so very true. I have written two creative pieces to date on ATS. I had a few to drink and figured I'd give it another shot. I can't hide behind shyness now.

In my eyes I think it's great! Short and sweet and full of emotion. At least I feel you have been hurt or your sad.
Poetry is so awesome. Thanks for sharing this.
I've written some, I just haven't shared any lately, a lot of it's personal.
I wrote one last night,that just came outta me. I was upset and it just flowed out...

Anyway, free verse fascinates me..like I've said before in another thread... Free verse is like playing tennis without a net...I don't remember who said that, but I like it!
