There are already so many quotes on this part... Buzz clearly said there is a monolith. This we can all agree on. We can also all agree that a monolith is merely a giant rock structure, whether man-made or natural. These are facts....

Buzz then continued to say that we should go check the monolith out, and that we will ask "Who put it there?"
Essentially, he was predicting this conversation.



But he still never said "alien". And he never said Phobos was a space station. He said it was a potato.

Here is what I heard: wait until THOSE people find out about this. he was clearly mocking people that are mentally challenged when he was going "who put that there? who put that there?" I found it a bit offensive since I am slightly retarded myself. Even so, I didn't here anything about aliens. Thank god I can understand what people say. I feel bad for those less fortunate.
