Know most folks on ATS will be aware of the facts surrounding the U.S. Government's mind control experiments on its citizens but for those who haven't really looked into the subject there's a short clip below about the work of Amedeo S. Marrazzi contracted by the Air Force Office of Scientific Research -also mentioned is the Ames 'leaf room' where people were dosed with L.S.D. and other psychiatric torture programs like MK-Ultra, Project Bluebird and Project Artichoke (all paid for by the US tax payer).

*Couldn't find the full lecture and am not advocating buying the DVD.

When false memories prove true

Dr. Colin Ross MD speaks in 2009 in Los Angeles with Roseanne Barr, Cathy O'Brien and Mark Phillips about CIA mind control, MK-Ultra and the documented history of Project Blue Bird and Project Artichoke.

There's a myth that these mind control/psychiatric torture programs stopped in the 1970s.

No they did not

They were outed in the 1970s - and the all future work has been classified.

Project Bluebird

Project Bluebird was approved by the director of the CIA on April 20, 1950. In a 1951 memo, Bluebird states that practical research was to be conducted to include these specific problems:

*Can we create by post-H control an action contrary to an individual’s basic moral principles?

*Can we in a matter of an hour, two hours, one day, etc., induce an H (hypnotic) condition in an unwilling subject to such an extent that he will perform an act for our benefit?

*Could we seize a subject and in the space of an hour or two by post-H control have him crash an airplane, wreck a train, etc.?

*Can we by H and SI techniques force a subject to travel long distances, commit specified acts and return to us or bring documents or materials?

*Can we guarantee total amnesia under any and all conditions?

*Can we “alter” a person’s personality?

*Can we devise a system for making unwilling subjects into willing agents and then transfer that control to untrained agency agents in the field by use of codes or identifying signs?

*How can sodium A or P or any other sleep inducing agent be best concealed in a normal or commonplace item, such as candy, cigarettes, coffee, tea, beer, medicines?

The Secrets of Mind Control

For anyone further interested in this there's the Freedom of Information Act archive for CIA Mind Control Documents linked below and a good (free) E-book about the subject by Walter Bowart -also mention in the review are the documentaries Mind Control: America's Secret War and Bad Trip To Edgewood which are well worth a watch.

Operation Mind Control by Walter Bowart.

This is precisely the kind of dangerous information that governments fear. Operation Mind Control is not conspiracy theory. It is documented fact. Governments live by lies, by bamboozling and hiding the truth from their subjects. Accordingly, the primary task of opponents of modern tyranny, as libertarian Murray N. Rothbard pointed out, is an educational one: to awaken the public to this manipulation and propaganda, by demystifying and desanctifying the state apparatus upon which such lies are built upon. Walter Bowart heroically accomplished this feat.Operation Mind Control spoke truth to power as few books published in the past thirty years have done. That is why the government tried to destroy it. Years ago I had the opportunity to discuss these matters with John Marks, the brilliant author of The Search For The Manchurian Candidate: The CIA and Mind Control. Mark's volume somehow escaped the government's relentless campaign waged upon its predecessor. I highly recommend his book in addition to Operation Mind Control. Two excellent documentaries tell the sordid and shocking story discussed in these books. They are, Mind Control: America's Secret War, and Bad Trip To Edgewood.

Thanks for this info. There are many ways to control a humans thinking. The more one understands the techniques the more one can control ones own direction in the face of exterior influence.

a reply to: Shirak

Thanks for the reply Shirak and couldn't agree more - when it comes to 'techniques' it looks like there are some pretty disturbing patents out there.

Here's one about 'Subliminal Televisual Behavior Modification':

"It is therefore possible to manipulate the nervous system of a subject by pulsing images displayed on a nearby computer monitor or TV set. For the latter, the image pulsing may be imbedded in the program material, or it may be overlaid by modulating a video stream, either as an RF signal or as a video signal."

US Patent and Trade Office, Patent #6,506,148, 2/14/03

And this one about 'Subliminal Carrier Technology' is pretty weird.

Developed for military use by Dr. Oliver Lowery of Norcross, Georgia.

US Patent Number 5,159,703

"Silent Subliminal Presentation System"

"A silent communications system in which nonaural carriers, in the very low (ELF) or very high audio-frequency (VHF) range or in the adjacent ultrasonic frequency spectrum, are amplitude- or frequency-modulated with the desired intelligence and propagated acoustically or vibrationally, for inducement into the brain, typically through the use of loudspeakers, earphones, or piezoelectric transducers. The modulated carriers may be transmitted directly in real time or may be conveniently recorded and stored on mechanical, magnetic, or optical media for delayed or repeated transmission to the listener."

Jose Delgado's 'Stimoceiver' doesn't sound too pleasant either.

The horrific experiments conducted by the army and CIA at Edgewood Arsenal and Mcgill University, unchecked by any responsible authority, only got worse.
By 1959 ,'___' was a sideshow, compared with another chemical: Quinunclidinyl Benzilate, or B.Z.
Incredibly, this drug possessed effects far more profound than '___' and which lasted for three days, although effects lasting as long as six days occurred at times.
Between 1959 and 1975,an estimated 2,800 U.S. Soldiers were given B.Z. at Edgewood Arsenal.
About this time, Jose Delgado invented a device he called the Stimoceiver.
This was a miniature depth electrode able to receive and transmit electronic signals over FM radio waves.
By stimulating a correctly postitioned stimoceiver,an outside operator could weild a surpising degree of control over the subject responses.

Taken from Richard Dolan's book 'UFOs and the National Security State'

Cheers.

10 Real Victims Of The CIA’s MKULTRA Program:

Project MKULTRA is one of the most famous undertakings relating to the CIA’s efforts toward mass mind control. There were many different tests conducted as a part of the project, including some conducted on volunteers, inmates, and unsuspecting targets. The project involved several different drugs—most famously '___'—and the participants involved had very different reactions to the testing, with some being inspired by it and others becoming terrified of just the notion of any possible future exposure. Some fatalities evem stemmed from Project MKULTRA, and what follows are 10 of the most interesting figures to have involvement with this CIA-sponsored testing.

The EU uses MKULTRA to delete memories and disrupt your daily working or relaxing activities making you forget stuff you are looking for or planning to do. In some cases that might be a shopping list, or some entertainment you are interested in, or a word that you suddenly can no longer remember. If you experience anything like that. Start blaming publicly the EU secret services.

Fixed that for you.
