They are, under the QF program. They're currently converting F-16s into QF-16s to replace the QF-4s. Only these are to be shot down during live fire exercises. Nothing out there would make a good UAV, as it's all older and not stealthy.

thx for the heads up on that one.Actually,not being stealth could work as an advantage.Fly in a few non stealth planes as a diversion,let them waste missiles on them,then sneak in the stealth
