He was already being punished. He was in jail for 23 years, right? I mean, we have a justice system that dishes out punishment accordingly, at least accordingly to the particular legal system in question (depends on the state in question).

And considering that this was the sort of environment he was placed in, I doubt he had a very easy time staying healthy and safe day to day.

"While no doubt the prison has failed in its legal duty (as opposed to any moral duty) to keep 'vulnerable' prisoners, including child killers, safe, perhaps now they know how their victims felt?" reply to post by ollncasino

While they may have failed in their legal duty, I feel that they have done an outstanding job in performing their moral duty.. Good riddance.

Mob mentality.

Nothing brings back a dead child like a blood sacrificing a killer by more killers.

He was rather proud of what they did to the rapist once the guards where away, didn't kill him though.

It is hard to have any sympathy for a child rapist.

It is also hard to condemn the guards for what they did. Luckily, the hippies don't run the inside of prisoners. Its too rough for them.

It's not a "hippie" thing. It's a human thing.

Approval for this sort of "prison justice" while not my cup of tea I suppose is fine if we stop pretending that "justice" is some sacred righteous concept.

The man was no sentenced to death.

If we want to applaud a human being being murdered then why not sentence him to death?

This popular attitude of wishing people to be killed, tortured, raped or otherwise abused while behind bars makes me pretty much sick but I guess I can understand this neanderthalic desire to smash things you dont like.

So I propose a compromise for our ape-like tendency to beat things with sticks and our fantasy human trappings such as "justice" and "civilization." It's simple really. Say what you mean and mean what you say.

Next time you sentence a pervert to prison wishing he be beaten and raped while there why not sentence him to be beaten and raped?

Next time you send a murderer to prison wishing he be beaten and killed while there why not just sentence him to be beaten and killed?

You're all a bunch of animals and only time or a massive extinction event will change that. I humbly suggest you accept it and stop pretending to be civilized when you clearly are not. Embrace your flat brow rage. Stop living a lie.

Although I see your point. In the bigger picture, now there is no danger this monster will be released back in to society.

Unless he was innocent all along...
I very much doubt it though, considering the circumstances.

Although innocent people have been executed in the past, but this guy was caught red(really) handed.

Its the posters praising the killers(who themselves are murders/rapists) part what made me comment on this disgusting thread.

What if these 2 killers got out? should we execute all inmates?

And if it was your daughter ?
Would you want to thank them ?

From one extreme to the other. Or, really, the same extreme.

"Thanking them". Does that imply forgiveness? Yeah. Because who needs THAT kinda mentality. Forgiving people. Pfft.

You see 23 years as a just punishment for what he did? Seriously?

NO! that guys went into jail at 21, with heavy sentence already screwed his life over. Which alone would make me happy.

Killing is just disgusting ESPECIALLY SUPPORTING ANOTHER MURDERER who killed him. Think about the other family that lost someone because of the inmate.

So... let me ask you this... what if the inmate who killed this child killer, actually also a child killer and killed your daughter?

Would you praise the inmate(aka your daughters killer)?

Ill expect an answer to this, it will be interesting?

23 in a prison as a child killer?

The two men in question did him more of a favor than "enacting justice." You know what kind of treatment a child killer gets in prison?

You preach punishment and blood sacrifice for the murder of men like this in prison, when in actuality, what happened is antithetical to what you preach.

If that sick bastard had done that to my daughter then I would be shaking the vigilanties hands. What they did to other people(probably gang related) would not be of much concern to me.

I think you inadvertently just ended the argument with that statement. And not in your favor.

I'd praise him for doing so (doesn't mean I'd like the guy)
And thank the ones that killed him later.
Anyone that kills a child with intent is not worthy of the very oxygen they steal with every breath.

Again, I'm not defending the actions of an individual. Heinous and malicious crimes are just what they are, and in a country with a justice system as this, he was put through it and they came up with a proper punishment for him. 23 years in prison? If it was 1 year in prison, it still would have been a year of absolute hell.

A kind of hell that ultimately killed him.

Do you defend Islamic terrorists for killing American soldiers? After all, the American military HAS killed an awful lot of children by bombing cities.

Or not. I mean, those kids are a weird shade of brown, and have confusing names, and worship some weird god called "Allah". So they're not quite as human, maybe.

... See where I'm going with this?

Translation: It took two prisoners, to do what the Justice system wouldn't. Exact Justice for a poor, tortured, innocent little Girl.

Good!

You wouldn't know how I feel, unless you were the parent of a child.....

"probably gang related" nice cop out there.... how do you know the vigilantes are not child rapists themselves, They were in the same prison as the child this child killers...

in fact, child rapist disgust me more than child killers.

Child living/growing up with trauma and unable to socially connect with people, worse case, become a child molester themselves.
