Do you own the gun or the gun owns you?

Needless to say I live in the UK and the way things are going if someone were to offer me a firearm and some rounds I'd seriously have to think about it.
Even though I KNOW certain types are illegal I don't think it would prevent me thinking about the offer.

I like to think literally about "socially defined" I didn’t make that clear. I am not talking about demographic schemes or psychological profiling. I was thinking more i the lines of "look at that guy all tattooed and pierced with that blue and with Mohawk.

What you say is true, all of it, but probably the guy living in the next street is not aware of their thoughts.


About owning well that should be a different thread I guess. I can think of only one example:
Addictions own people, as they control their life.
Possession of material stuff, well even heritage isn't indefinite, but for me personal owning is temporary
and I own stuff in that way. I just (ab)use it until it is irrelevant in my life
