Mother of the World...

They tried to drown her
In tears and dark water

Make all seem out of touch
Out of sense

Disconnected

As the loneliest heart in the world
As a frozen butterfly
Shattered

Too many tears
Too many times bleeding your heart out
Just too many

Finding the light in the shadows
Yet this world have more to come
Clinging on to playing games
Always and always
Seems like forever

Like drowning slowly
While you reach for the light
While your heart flows only love
Still drowning
Still sinking
Deeper
Deeper

Sense is where to be found you ponder
Just that hand to touch you
That never reached your shoulder

All is written
Staged
A dance of power
A walk for control

Nowhere
The seeds seem to grow

The soil is dead
Salted by tears
Drained of greed

Withered hearts
Empty eyes in empty faces

Your tears change just nothing
Just another game around the corner
Just another lie for you to believe

Innocent still you carry your heart on your sleeve
Naive to the bone
Love is of your core
You will die with it
Live with it
Dive deeper

You feel the urge
You see the lost faces and the broken hearts
What can you say
What can you do
That have not already been said and done a million times before
To touch
To reach out

Falling and falling
Deeper
Still you remember
Remembrance only makes the pain more real
Always present
Always there

You wish you had something to say
To do
To make it real
To connect
Make that golden web of truth
Once so glorious
Once so shining

Shadow-dancer
Moonlight listener

Not even in the halls of emptiness is there comfort to find
Even within the void the tears are falling
The longing heard

One broken
One detached from itself

Your wings were broken
All you had taken away
Stripped
Alone
In a world who lingered on
A world who did not care
For you
For love
All you ever had, ever did
Twisted, turned against you
That dark water seemed like the only comfort
Yet even there, you remembered
Even there, still you could hear the condescending voices
Blaming you
Painting for you a chamber of shame
A castle of guilt

Wanting to leave
Yet
You could not leave yourself
Leave your heart

Trapped
All the way
No where to go
Only the patience of a bleeding heart to carry you
Only the touch of emptiness to reach you

For their sacred books and made up Gods
Only the solitude and the rain remained to you
A whisper in the wind

A Mother fading away
...

So please who to shine the light
Who to share a hope

Shine
Hope
And love

Please you golden web of the World
Once so proud
Once so bright
Once so true

Please restore
Glory of our mind
Reign of the Heart

Dance that dance long forgotten
Even through the tear stained eyes
Please try
To smile

Let all come back to all
Let that what is, be clear to see

There are no one to walk this road but you
To shine that love but you

Only together we wake our Mother
Only as One we call her back
Mending her broken heart
Drying her tears

And don't even think the ending was that positive

Insisting on doing that what is right, no matter what
