They usually have cameras, so I think you would have been caught more than likely. Do you think that combo opened the machine?

You did the right thing


IMO taking the money is only fair if you or your family is starving to death or in dire need of medical treatment that you can't afford. You sound like you're alright though

I think I would have notified the sheriff department, but then again I know them... they would be asking questions for hours...

Seriously, I would have notified the Sheriff, something could have happened to the service person… you never know???
