i like when science agrees with common sense, we are much more effective as a species because we co-operate.

Humans are much more inclined to cooperate than are their closest evolutionary relatives. The prevailing wisdom about why this is true has long been focused on the idea of altruism: we go out of our way to do nice things for other people, sometimes even sacrificing personal success for the good of others. Modern theories of cooperative behavior suggest that acting selflessly in the moment provides a selective advantage to the altruist in the form of some kind of return benefit.

people working together is not socialism, it is nature and we are more productive together.

People became more "group-minded," identifying with others in their society even if they did not know them personally. This new sense of belonging brought about cultural conventions, norms, and institutions that incentivized and structured feelings of social responsibility

Something the study also says, but I think you may be missing, is that we work better together when working together is altruistic. You can't force people to work together and find the same results. It has to happen a la minute, when the need drives the inspiration.

Socialism is not that. Socialism is a regimented "plan" to acheive what cannot be planned: human behavior.

If we follow the axiom of "as above, so below", it leads us to consider this in the context of the "above". Since fractal geometry is the vehicle that the creative force uses, it would seem logical that the same can happen with behaviors (since the same laws of physics apply). What socialism is, in essence, is like a square, blocked house. Sure it is well thought out and logical. But it isn't natural, and will not last.

Instead, we should develop our systems to create the framework from which greater things can grow. In essence, begin by teaching ourselves how to be better, then pass that along by teaching our kids.

Humans are unique in that we can push our ideas forward with some level of stability. We have written language and robust languages allowing us to communicate intricate details, pushing our collective knowledge forward. And if we ever "forget" something, rest assured it will be "discovered" again. Fractals demand that it repeat.

my version of socialism is not a political construct, it is social and financial.
in this context, when people co-operate in small groups they will out produce individuals working alone.
this has an economic meaning. if you care for your co workers, you do a better job, and everybody benifits from the extra economic output. "for profit co-op"

i agree entirely with on this^^^^
it takes people rejoining their community and discussing what works.
i can sight the open source software as an example, it is the fact that all are unique that makes great projects and software. their work benifits the entire comunity.
they compete on an impressive market level.= co-operation
