I believe Robert Wadlow was still growing too, he died young.
I guess anyone over 6 foot tall was considered "Big" 2000 years ago. But even in the 20th century, many Italian and some Greek migrants were the
little short "peasant" (no offence) class of people with the darker olive skin etc...good workers tho.
Of course Ive seen some huge Greek offspring...over 6 foot and big.
My Germanic/Viking roots has given me 6+ foot frame, but one of my grandmothers was 4'10"....just genetics and Heredity which none of us can
control....not to mention good food

I doubt if this person had gigantism.....he was just taller than average.
