What do you understand the role of the press to be in all this? We can find and connect information, but we're not going to get it out to the country, let alone hold the Administration's (any administration's) feet to the fire.
I would think that a reporter could get some decent leads here, then follow it up with his own sources and interviews. I think ATS is doing what it can, but that's not it's primary purpose, unlike a reporter's.
Even when a reporter does come up with something, we're among the first to say "Oh, it comes from such and such source, we know they're always lying, let's ignore it."
