It's that time of year again folks. Halloween right around the corner and for our fellow ATS writers it's time to get down to our darkest and most prevelant fears.

With a twist!

This year the contest will revolve around the "B Movie Concept" We all know these films, they try as hard as they can but end up having more cheese than a dairy store on monday morning!

So get out your keyboards and type away folks. I want to see the cheesiest, saddest attempt at making things scary that you can come up with.

Title must contain BMHWC

All T&C's apply

Enter as many stories as you like, but post them as seperate threads in the Short Story forum.

No upper or lower word count limits

Any writing form acceptable

There will be three winners chosen, based solely on the number of flags their story receives from your fellow members.

The contest runs until midnight, October 31 and the winners announced the following morning of November 1.

Winners only will get writer status, 5 'applauses' each and included in the Showcase of Winners

Alright folks good luck.

Contest runs until October 31st at Midnight.

Expect my "campy" entry in a day or two. I have to order extra "cheese" for this one!

Thinking about cheese and B-movies led to me thinking about cows, hence:

Great idea for a Halloween contest. I am working out the kinks in my story now.

Looking forward to what the imaginative minds here can come up with. Some hokey, corney skin-crawling fun I'm sure; cant wait!

Hmm...I might have to see what I can come up with. I typically write a short horror story every Christmas. Writing one for Hallowe'en might be a welcome change.

A Cheesy Christmas Themed Halloween story could be fun

I'm unfamiliar with cheesy, campy movies. So just finished doing a little research on Netflix. A little film called...

THE HEAD THAT WOULD NOT DIE

It was really, really bad in a good way. Now off for more research...

Im trying to figure a way to incorporate a real life B horror event into a story. As in the events of a night of ghost hunting in a ghost town in Mo that I unfortunately made an ass of myself .. on film.. would rival most B movies.
Can we use real life events or does this have to be fiction alone?

Please pull from ANY real life scenario or fiction.

In fact, I would prefer if you mixed both

:O I LOVE all the Leprechaun movies, so cheesy and bad, yet so amazing. But its not half as cheesy as Evil Dead or Army of Darkness, rofl. But man, do I love those two movies. It's amazing how something so bad, can be so good, the world we live in, I swear, it's just magnificent. Looking forward to reading some of your guys' stories though
I'd write some myself, but i'm a horrible writer

Well, I just had to enter one. Just don't think about THAT.

I had 300 characters left to type with, but all my story characters were dead by then.

Enjoy!

Why does Killer Klowns from Outer Space come to mind??

I had a story in mind if a Halloween contest came along. So now I'd have to make that story sound lame and cheezy? Sounds good to me !!

Will have it up sometime this week.
