The prevailing attitude in America is it ain't a problem until it's a problem, despite people saying that there is a problem and it's been existing
for years and years and years.
But then where the is a problem, many people will run around saying "what the hell is happening! Why weren't we warned about this! What can we do to
solve it RIGHT NOW!"
But you were warned. People have been warning you for years. You just dismissed it out of hand because it was inconvenient for you to change you
ways.
That's why the 99% can't get behind any one solution, because of that kind of apathy.
The other thing that tends to muddy the waters a bit is the crap sayers. That is the people who make up a problem just to stir people up. There's an
awful lot of those kinds of people in a free society, and it's hard to sort out those people from the genuine thing.
Those are the big problems of American society, and probably just about any other society in the free world.
