All this time has passed. What have we accomplished.

We are still about just one step above barnyard animals.

Ah! But was Pharaoh's cat smarter than this?

Electricity?

Organ Transplants?

Growing Organs in a lab?

Cloning?

As a species I don't think we have changed much.

Many still believe in a magical 'god' and many still fight wars and kill anyone who dares question those beliefs. (In the name of god of course.)

The wealthy still enslave the poor.

A few control the majority.

Nothing has changed we just look a little different but the human condition remains.

I hear people say the world is getting worse, or that people in general are getting worse, then I learn something new about history and realize it really hasn't changed all that much although same societies might be a little more "civilized" now.
Are we smarter? No, we just have more knowledge. I look at same of the things built 4,000+ years ago and it is pretty incredible given the knowledge and technology they had.
