I noticed this a few days ago, why do U.S. soldiers have the American flag on backwards on their uniforms?

I cant give you a REAL answer. But I know an upside-down flag signifies anti-government.

Looks like the person who prepared the flag messed up and due to budgetary constraint was placed in inventory.
