Brooklyn primary candidate in N.Y. Assembly race says 'negrohood' mailer was just a 'typo'

At least he owns up to the typo. But once out there…well, it’s out there.

Please! Give me a break. Whoever on his staff wrote this letter should be fired immediately. Tell me that the person who wrote this "Typo" did not have a agenda.

Just look at your “QWERTY” keyboard for a second and tell me how this could happen.

Hell, most MSWord type programs have spell check.

Even my program picked up on the misspelling. (I know, it doesn’t always work)

Maybe if you’re running for office you should put in the hours and type your own messages, rather than relying on someone on your staff to read your mind. We've seen how that works across the board, haven't we.

If you want the job...do the work.

its possible, here on ats, you can't spell the country Niger, without it coming out as the country of n-word.

Neighbors around the district received the mailer on Thursday, August 23. After our report on Friday, the campaign treasurer for Friends of Ben Akselrod contacted us, saying he never gave permission for his address to be used in the flier. He resigned Monday evening.

Look at the keyboard.

Neighborhhood does not even come close to negrohood. Lots more letters in the former.

I'm thinking that this was done intentionally.

Possibly by a disgruntled employee?

But the candidate didn't proof read prior to signing off on it's dissemination.

Not to sure I would want him as my assemblyman.
