Can we get some updated expressions for our posts please?? The smiley guys on the right.....

I have been thinking and anyone can chime in here to add something you would like to see also, but I have a few recommendations for the updates.....

I want a smiley guy with arms that reach all the way across the text box......For the posters that are really reaching toward something....

I would like to see a smiley with a fishing pole, ie you are just fishing for things here.....

I would like to see a smiley guy that is hiding under a bridge (troll)

I would like to see 2 smileys standing beside each other put out their arms and hug.....For can't we all just get along?

Anyone else have any other ideas for the Mods to update our smiley choices???

I too could use some new expressions. ATS has become so advanced on so many levels you guys forget some of us are lucky to still know how to find our way back to the forum let alone do the more techy stuff some of the more creative members can. I was in chat one night when everyone was making each letter a different color and for the life of me I could not join the fun...

I personally would LOVE to see some updated and fun smillies. (sp?)

There are many more emotes than the ones displayed to the right of the reply box.

As much fun as those emoticons are, the purpose of ATS is to promote civilized discussion. I can see the potential for some threads to deteriorate into a series of obnoxious cartoons. Thanks, but no thanks.

I use the guy sometime when I want to say something that will violate the T&Cs.

He gets the point across that I'm pissed off and swearing mad over what I've read.

The others, I use sometimes to emphasize a point or to add some humor to a post. They shouldn't be overused but, I think they are a valuable tool.

BTW: only the top two lines are codes from the old BTS smileys options. The rest I had to add to my photo album and post them as pics in a thread when I want to use them.

Bookmarked for future reference.

"Sarcasm" probably doesn't need a smiley because most ATS members are so aware and intelligent, they can spot sarcasm a mile away.
