I wonder if Obama is going to ride the crest of the wave with this as being one of his administrations finest achievements to date. Surely it will push him up in the Presidential race? Does it spell the end for Romney. Or does the timing of it's release cut to near the bone of Sept 11th 2012 for too many Americans and backfire on the Presidents campaign.

Amusing...I wonder if it will be as credible as the 911 commission report.

Don't wait for the movie. Create the BS docudrama, become a youtube sensation, and get rich off it. People are already brainwashed, a little more of it couldn't hurt anyone.

I have a hard time believing anything coming from a military source.

Aha... Considering that whole miscreation was a fiction, no one can dispute whatever he says. He can make up any lies he likes--bin Laden was dead years ago. If he was thrown into the ocean, it was only to thaw him out....

You understand wrong. SEALs were killed in a helicopter and SEALs were a part of the raid, they were not the same people. Their are about 2000 SEALs , the story that they were the same people was the usual ATS making up stuff without the facts. As for the book, it will have to pass though the DoD to make sure its does not reveal anything classified like sources and methods.

I think an interesting thread about this topic would be about WHO this "Penguin" is.

First off, we have to consider that given the "Highly Classified" status of this mission, that this book has already been read by and/or created by the government. Then it was Ok'd for distribution. So.....Is this really the lucky seal team member who somehow got book rights to this story? Or is it totally created by an intelligence agency and watered down and fictionalized for general consumption? My guess would be the latter.

I don't know if you're being facetious or not. Penguin is the book-publishing house. And believe me when I say that it would not be a very interesting thread....

I don't think it has been OK'd. I just heard a local news story about this on the way home (radio). The report says the book has not been approved by the Pentagon & they will try to stop its release.

I'm sure it will be a "Navy Seal" publishing *cough *cough--Obama is behind this

I guess they're smart, if they said the Pentagon published it, then they might as well put it in the comedy section and nobody would buy it, at least if they said Navy Seal then it has some credibility.

Ok, so they wouldn't release any pictures of Bin Laden, but they will write a whole book about it, hmm, that doesn't make sense.

A picture is worth a thousand words, I wouldn't trust anything in this book, I would like to see actual proof and not what someone put on a piece of paper to fool everyone
