You can not be sure that nothing will happen, because things have happened before. I suppose you all know about past cataclysms, mass extinctions,
asteroids, floods etc....
The other way round, you can't be sure that something which is out of our control will happen.
Actually, we do not know.
May I just point out to you that the 2004 tsunami was not predicted by scientists either.
Rational and traditional science is not more anti-error guaranteed than 'intuitive' science.
See the debate about climate changes, the incapacity to predict earthquakes, asteroids etc....not mentioning the fact that scientists just say what
their employers tell them to say..sorry for the real independant scientists out here..
So i am afraid we won't know. No one will tell us, guide us, help us. But it is a fact that people all over the world are feeling something, sensing
something...but what?
But there are things that are under our control. Economics, finance, markets, these are under our control, and these are not doing fine at all...we
need to be alert about this.
