Jump In Tiger Population Numbers In Swamps

Bangladesh-
According to scientists, UN sanctioned policy and stringent laws and gaurding of one of the last great wild places on Earth has produced a net increase of about fifty tigers in this protected area. This is a trend scientists hope to continue in this border wildlife habitat.

Bangladesh Sees Tiger Numbers Up in Mangrove Swamps

This jump in numbers could be a good thing, I mean, why would we not want to see a net gain in restoring the natural habitat of such a magnificent creature?

Man that's great news. I contribute to a save the siberian tiger fund but I don't really get any reinforcment. So this is great. I love tigers

How do they know that the increase was not caused by deforestation and urban development which skewed the population sampling?
