In tonights debate, John Kerry continues to stand firm on his belief that the United States should move forward with bi-lateral talks with Iran when a similar situation wa adopted by Bill Clinton with North Korea. John Kerry continues to support using sanctions and weapons inspectors along with the bi-lateral talks to prevent Iran from moving forward with his weapons. Why would he make such a terrible decision like this knowing what the results will be with a country on an initiative to build WMDs??

Because, in spite of all their bluster and inflammatory rhetoric, the leaders of Iran are practical men. The ultimate power in Iran is not in the Mullas and Mosques, but rather it is in the bazars and the merchants. This is the true base of power. They like to rail against the U.S., but they copy everything we do.
