I want to share one of the most bizarre things that have ever happened to my family and I. It happened several years ago. My Grandma had just passed
away and it was the day of her funeral. My brother, sister, and I were all going to the funeral together. When we got into the car, the radio was on
playing a series of commercials. Then, this song came on:
Blue Oyster Cult - Don't Fear Te Reaper
After that, this song came on:
The Offspring- Gone Away
Followed by this song:
The Rolling Stones- Paint it Black
When we got to the church where the service was being held this song came on:
Bob Dylan - Knockin' on Heaven's Door
When we got back in the car and left for the cemetery nothing was on the radio but commercials. However, as we came in sight of cemetery this song
came on:
Motley Crue- Home Sweet Home
Anywho, I thought it was pretty weird. We still talk about it to this day. Sometimes, I'll just sit there and ponder that strange play list. It's
just odd to me that the radio station played these songs on the day of her funeral.
That is a little wierd, but things like that happen a lot. Reminds me of a couple years ago I was driving through a nearby town listening to the
radio and I passed this huge building on the left with great big letters that said "The Clarks" and at that exact moment the radio said "and that was
a song by The Clarks". Kind of made me feel wierd...
