2012 it's not the End after all!

Recent discoveries in reveal that the inscriptions which have been talked and talked and talked about, driving people into an Apocalyptic frenzy, clearly show that the meaning was an end of an era, but a continuation of life as usual in most other ways. No Need to Panic! No Need to Spend a Fortune preparing for a Non-Event! Clue in people, its just a way to get attention, make sales, increase readership, and get people into that Sheeple mood! It never was.

Nothing happens suddenly, even the end of the world.The end of the world also takes time and there are signs before it happens.Let's see what the new era is like.This thread is absolutely right.

Of course it's not The End!... well, the apocalyptic kind. It annoys me very much when people all around the net or even my family members RL are like "oooh, we don't have to worry about X event because on 21st Dec the world will end!"... no. Why would it end?

Or, if we want to be specific, we could also say "It'll be the end of the world.. as we know it" in the sense that something New may start, without the Earth being destroyed in the process. But of course it's not as "charming" like the gloom and doom version
