EURO Crisis: Cyprus Requests Funds

Another EURO country requesting bailout funds. I wonder if the country is requesting since others did while continuing to reach a critical tipping point of their economy? Or this was bound to happen due to the negative spillover of its financial sector? It also indicates that supposedly the Greek Economy had a lot to do with it.
