The transatlantic jet trails visible from space: How 'contrails' can stay in the sky for up to 14

I started noticing Contrails/Chemtrails about six months a go and it does seem strange that it stays in the same spot and slowly spreads in the sky. NASA says that some of it stays in the same spot for up to 14 hours. I don't understand what might be causing it or if it's normal. I searched and didn't see this article here, so here it is HERE IT IS

Like a giant game of crosses without the naughts, these incredible jet engine trails can be seen criss-crossing the Atlantic from space. NASA's Terra satellite captured these two amazing images of aircraft trails, or 'contrails' as they are known, spreading across the sky off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada. The spectacular effect forms in the wake of passing aircraft due to the extra particles and water vapor contained in their exhaust. There are a lot of evil things "they" do and we don't know why.

Besides satisfying our curiosity, asking "why" seems to be ineffective, "they" will do it anyway.

"They" won't answer why they do these things because they know we won't like the answer.

They most certainly did NOT say it stays in the same spot for up to 14 hours. They said they LAST as long as 14 hours. What they see after 14 hours are just the cloud-like remains of the original contrails, hundreds of miles away. Even the Daily Mail gets this right:

The airplane signatures with distinct edges are visible in the first, older image, but two hours later have grown wispier and spread outward as winds have blown them south and east

The temperature and humidity of the air affects how long contrails last - when the air is dry, they remain visible for mere seconds or minutes.

But when the air is humid, as was the case here, contrails can be long-lived and spread outward until they become difficult to distinguish from naturally-occurring cirrus clouds.

What's causing it is exactly what they say: planes flying through humid air. It is normal, although this is an unusually nice configuration, requiring particular weather conditions that do not happen every day.

NASA (who made the diagram you reference) are well aware of the uncertainties surrounding cirrus clouds, and their possible effects on climate, and they write a lot about it. They also write a lot about the impact that contrail cirrus have on the climate. Nobody is trying to hide that, in fact it's been discussed for many decades, even on TV in the 1980s.

And if you doubt that contrails turn into cirrus - well that's something that has been observed since 1921.

Contrails have been known to last up to 17 hours - eg IPCC section on contrail and cirrus cloud persistence - see section 3.4.3, and cirrus clouds for days.

Other contrails and contrail clusters were observed to develop over periods of 7 to 17 h, spreading to cover areas of 12,000 to 35,000 km2.

Results of the study, published in PloS One show this condition appears to be uncommon among a population representative of Northern California residents. Skin damage from the sun was the most common skin abnormality found, and no single underlying medical condition or infectious source was identified. Upon thorough analysis, most sores appeared to result from chronic scratching and picking, without an underlying cause. The materials and fibers obtained from skin-biopsy specimens were mostly cellulose, compatible with cotton fibers.

Neuropsychological testing revealed a substantial number of study participants who scored highly in screening tests for one or more co-existing psychiatric or addictive conditions, including depression, somatic concerns (an indicator of preoccupation with health issues), and drug use.

This comprehensive study of an unexplained apparent dermopathy demonstrated no infectious cause and no evidence of an environmental link. There was no indication that it would be helpful to perform additional testing for infectious diseases as a potential cause. Future efforts should focus on helping patients reduce their symptoms through careful attention to treatment of co-existing medical, including psychiatric conditions, that might be contributing to their symptoms.

So it sure seems that morgellans is not linked to anything environmentally so that blows the so called chemtrails are causing Morgellams now doesn't it?

that would be quite common - by definition people dont' notice something before they notice it (trite I know, but it is true), and then they often ask why they never noticed it before & if it is contrails they start assigning all sorts of nefarious purposes to it jsut 'cos they never noticed it before!!

I never noticed the chemspots before. But they were there. Apparently.

Then why do people say that what they're spraying right over them is found on the ground, and on their cars, and in the trees? Either it's so heavy that it falls straight down, or it's so light the jetstream carries it to where it is supposed to go.

the "jetstream" is generally 23-39,000 feet - if "it" stays in the jetstream then it is staying at that altitude - how is it going to poison anyone up there??

for what reason ? I do not know, but they are.
