Interesting video of daytime sighting

Found this and don't believe it was posted here yet. It was allegedly filmed on June 1st of this year so it's rather current. What I find more interesting than the initial footage is the "enhanced edging" footage. Is this a valid way to analyze video? It removes detail but certainly looks like it defines the shapes of the objects and their movements better.
