YES! Good for you Gov. Rick Scott. We need to fight back, Obama and his Cronies like Eric Holder who is doing Obamas Bidding.

If the state of Florida, Arizona and any other state wished to assure a Legal Citizens Vote is Not Cancelled Out By an illegal or Dead Persons Vote, What's wrong with that?
I'll tell you what's wrong with it, illegals and dead people seem to vote Democrat for some strange reason.

Now the state of Florida has asked for assistance from our Government to help them purge their records.
It would seem the powers to be in our present Government do not wish to help Florida assure only Citizens vote.
Now why do you think that is?

So, Florida is going to sue the DHS, Great give Obama and his people a taste of their own medicine.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R) said he will sue the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to move forward with his controversial attempt to purge the voter-rolls in his state of ineligible voters.

They were Ignored For Months By The Administration to provide the information they needed.

“I have a job to do to defend the right of legitimate voters,” Scott told Fox News on Monday. “We’ve been asking for the Department of Homeland Security’s database, SAVE, for months, and they haven’t given it to us. So this afternoon, we will be filing a lawsuit, the secretary of State of Florida, against the Department of Homeland Security to give us that database. We want to have fair, honest elections in our state and we have been put in a position that we have to sue the federal government to get this information.”

This is the Democrats concern:

Any Florida resident that is eligible to vote that is purged from the voter rolls would have to verify their citizenship in order to be allowed to vote.
Prove their a Citizen or Alive and Not Dead!
thehill.com...
You have to prove your alive and here legally to have a drivers licences, if your here and have a Green Card your Drivers Licences will have your "A" number listed and you're not eligible to vote.

Here is another interesting story.

TextGov. Rick Scott: voter purge lawful, feds are wrong and breaking the law

Gov. Rick Scott’s election’s chief on Wednesday defiantly refused a federal demand to stop purging non-citizens from Florida’s voter rolls, intensifying an election-year confrontation with President Barack Obama’s administration as each side accuses the other of breaking federal law.

n a sharply worded letter, Scott’s administration claimed the Department of Justice doesn’t understand two federal voting laws at the heart of the dispute and was protecting potentially illegal voters more than legal ones

Florida also accused another federal agency, the Department of Homeland Security, of violating the law by denying Florida access to a federal citizenship database.

Department of Homeland Security...more like department of homeland insecurity.

The DHS has been coming under heavy fire as of late. Good! About time we give the fox guarding the hen house, a hard time. Flagrant use of power taken, not given, doesn't make them right. They are dead wrong on this issue.

States have the right to set their own voting laws, based on the original Constitution. NOT the one Obama keeps trying to write.

Congratulations to Governor Scott for his courageous stand. It is ironic indeed to here Democrat operatives supporting Eric Holder's attempt to stop voter fraud prevention efforts in Florida. I remember well in 2000 how Al Gore fought to disenfranchise absentee ballots by our men and women in uniform. Gore knew that the vast majority of military people vote Republican, so he ruthlessly instructed his lawyers to block their vote. It is all a matter of record. Disgraceful, but that's the way the Democrat operatives work.

Nice!

Florida is also leading the way in challenging Obamacare at the Supreme Court. Attorney General Pam Bondi led that charge and other states jumped on board.

Now, too bad the blind voters supported Romney.
We could have REALLY made some progress with our Governor, the Tea Party, and a Ron Paul candidate!

The federal government should have long ago turned over the Social security numbers to the states of all the dead on a yearly bases.
the federal government is not only protecting illegals and allowing them to vote but working Americans by allowing illegals to use these numbers;
