In the past, most wars have been between nations. In the future, things may be much more simple. There is the potential here, with the transit of venus, for a different kind of war. A war between people and governments. A war between rulers and servants. A war between takers and givers. A war between light and dark. A war between free will.. and slavery.

Take from this what you will, but know that the sands shift beneath you.

Its important to realise that the only battle that matters is the one within yourself. The struggle we each have internally with our own individual desires is driven by entities you cannot precive unless you know they are their. The battles for possession either over people/land/objects come out of our struggle to find inner peace. Remember that the universe is as large internally as it is externally.

Truth.

But the internal battle is reflected in the external world.

I don't think I would consider that simpler. On the contrary, it would be more complex, especially in the US where we have a (rigged) system of elected representation.

War between nations is simple. You have a designated land, uniform, language, equipment. We identify that, destroy or capture.

War between those with power and those without within their own borders is much more difficult. One mans brother may work for those in power via a government agency. Those in power keep the weapons for war regulated or banned from the people. Their buildings, lands etc are the same as ours. Visually, we looks the same. They blend in with out groups.

The nature of warfare is always to get more complex. Just think about it. Weapons advance. Tactics advance.

Its simple in concept, the details of course are extremely complex as you have just pointed out. But as long as we remember the overall goal, that being to remove the earth from the grips of tyrants.. that's all the simplicity we'll ever need.
