Dear ATS friends,

This thread asks a simple question. How does the evil empire of Sin City go about breaking down the willpower of tourists and gamblers, so that they succumb more easily to temptation, sex, gambling, manipulation and scams?

I contend that there is a very real possibility that they spice up their beer and mixed drinks with the World's Scariest Drug as well as add it in powdered form to the many "Perfume Dispensers" at the entrances to the Casinos.

You might need to sign in to see this video (age 18 required)

For those who do not want to register, which is something I wouldn't advise doing given that there are distinct rumors that YouTube is run by the CIA, here are a few segments in sequence:

I have often wondered what exactly they put in their drinks and in the air we breath when in Las Vegas. This came to me a few years ago when I noticed long hallways from parking lots to the main Casino buildings which had strongly scented perfume dispensers on their ceilings. This annoyed me first, because they didn't smell all that good and were 'pungent'. But within moments I noticed that walking down the long hallways that I was starting to "lose it" and that I was getting all wishy washy. Was this just my imagination? I cannot present evidence, but I did note from then on a similar shift in my sensations, and especially in my willpower, whenever I got near one of these dispensers.

Also, when in Reno I noticed that they had a special going: $1 for a beer and a hot dog. The homeless and poor souls who had apparently lost their life saving gambling and still hoped to regain them by placing bets in the sports gambling rooms lined up. When it came to my turn, they seemed disturbed and didn't want to serve me. I got the impression that it was because they knew what was in the "swill" and I wasn't the target client? Were they testing some experimental drug on poor waifs? In any case I had to insist and order several times to get mine, and after eating the hot dog and drinking the small draft beer, I was taken with a total loss of will power. Worse yet, I was unable to drive after less than a half pint of draft beer, and had to pull over onto the side of the road to sleep it off. Crazy. I hold my liquor really well and could normally function pretty near close to normal at rather high doses. I have always wondered, what was in that beer they were "testing"?

Most folks who know me learn over time that I am about the most willful and stubbornly persistent persons they have ever met. Little will deter me, I can go through harsh conditions and even life threatening pain and moral duress for extended periods without relinquishing. So when I find myself suddenly losing all motivation and impetus, and unable to make up my mind, then I figure that something chemical has been seriously tampering with my physiology. If others here experienced the same thing in the Casinos, Hotels and similarly Mob-Run businesses in Las Vegas or Reno, please let us know. It is time that the word went out that we won't let them get away with them poisoning us or drugging us up against our will, to defeat our will. FWIW.

We're talking here about scopolamine.
A very readily available airsickness / seasickness remedy.

So Alfa One - now we know how you have your way with the ladies? You take them out on roller coasters but first you give them a patch to make sure they won't get sick on the rides? LOL

Actually, this whole will deprivation scam seems worse than originally expected...

Wouldnt surprise me. Gambling is a billion dollar industry and the house always wins.

Wow that's interesting. To be honest though, I don't believe any kind of drug is needed. Vegas is set up to give people what they want. The bright lights, the windowless casinos, the absence of clocks and the feeling of winning are all one needs to get people addicted. People go to Vegas to let go and escape reality. Gambling is addicting because it gives us pleasure, it's its own drug. Casinos are set up to make you feel like a winner. When you win your brain releases dopamine which gives you that elation that comes with winning. Now you want more, but the more you play the more you stand to loose. However once you've won the idea that you might loose is also exciting. You want to beat the system, to prove the House doesn't always win. Add in a few drinks and you become more lucid and willing to take more risks.

Drugs are often common in such environments. There is a reason we call them Recreational Drugs.

As far as the sex part; drink enough and there's a chance you'll end up with a stranger in your bed the next morning whether you're in Vegas or not.

I'm not saying they don't do this, but honestly there is no need. People go to Vegas with a certain mindset and try to live it.

Scopolamine has quite a range of rather dangerous physical side effects. So If your proposition were true, there would be many people dropping dead, or ending up in the hospital.
In Vegas the main drug is Sex and Money, which is much more powerful than scopolamine when it comes to being 'lead by the nose'.

Oh goody, there's still hope for me then!

As for the thread, who knows...perhaps taking a sample of 'the perfume' on a napkin to be analysed?

Short of that, you might have had jet lag or a bug or something...wouldn't surprise me if there was some kind of drug being pumped out though, but i'd imagine if there was, it would be one that dissipated quickly or else everyone would be dropping dead in the casinos and hotels from OD'ing.

No , if Scopolamine were being pumped into drinks or perfume then people would be dropping dead by the 1000's as the overdose level is very low.

GS,

I was only in LV once ~ in 1999. I was not tempted to gamble at all. The mafia did not get even a nickel from me. lol Maybe whatever you experienced has been introduced since then? I don't know, but maybe narrowing down the timeline could be useful... or maybe it just didn't have any effect on me. That could also be useful information. FWIW

The drug in question is a delirium. If people were exposed to high doses, they would be acting VERY strange. IE- they'd be in a sort of drug induced psychosis, and doubt they would even comprehend the act of gambling - it would seem to be counter productive to the casino's intention (to get you to spend more money). Lower doses would just make people a little sleepy and lethargic, something that isn't usually conducive to gambling. I've worked out there myself, and never gambled, never had the urge, as I am not fond of gambling - I hate losing money more then the feeling of winning. In my brief time in the area, I met plenty of locals who didn't gamble, but I sure did meet plenty of people that loved to throw money at the casinos, but I never saw any hints that they were "drugging" people to get them to gamble (other then Alcohol, which works MUCH MUCH better then scopolamine family of drugs to get people to spend money).

This seems to be the perfect drug for MK-Ultra type studies. Makes sense why I haven't heard of it until now, if that's the case...

This is some real scary s#!t. I hope I never encounter this...

Hi Guys and Gals,

Thanks for all your great replies and also for being so nice to me! I usually post more controversial topics and have gotten used to getting bashed for just about anything I say or do, so this is really an incredible pleasure and an entirely new experience for me. Maybe I ought to post more in the General Conspiracy section and no longer in the UFO and Alien or the Secret Society sections? Don't ask me why LOL.

Actually, when I noticed that something seemed amiss when in Vegas around five years ago, I felt that they were using that location to 'test' products and people's reactions to them? I wondered if they didn't spike the drinks with weird stuff, etc. After all, if you were in the business of designing consumables, wouldn't it be convenient to have a bunch of disoriented and over excited unsuspecting guinea pigs? We know that the Military tested all kids of things on unsuspecting soldiers, civilians and prisoners, ranging from exposure to radioactivity to reactions to '___'. So who is to say that there aren't certain strange tests being conducted in such a place?

It was Reno which had me most alarmed about a population of gamblers who seemed to low down the rungs to remain in Vegas and had gone down the slope to gradually wind up there in a dead end. I even wondered if they didn't from time to time "disappear" some of them, as they seemed to be wandering about aimlessly and without any hope left. Maybe it was all an impression, due to the desperate situations I saw them in, but they certainly seemed to be a very vulnerable population which happened to be gathered at the mercy of the Mob and the Military Industrial Complex which are the two dominant forces in the State of Nevada. If so, I wanted to get the word out so that hopefully any wrongdoings against the innocent might stop - if I'm not misguided in my concern.

I have thought the same thing. I always wondered if it was a socially induced phenomena or if there was the chemical side to it. How then can entire families be swept up by the mighty whore?

Good post. Im actually to heading to Vegas in a few weeks for my 30th birthday and itll be my third time heading over there. I dont drink alcohol whatsover so I cant comment on that but I did notice the constant pump of freshener being released in every hotel. They all have different scents but the most I found pleasing was the Luxor. I know there's being a few theories floating around that it may be Illumanit related and there's something about that hotel that draws you in. I can honestly say, Im addicted to returning to that town.

Las Vegas is definitely a town to just have fun and let go of worries. I try not to gamble much but I definitely feel like a "winner" when im playing the machines. It was really weird though seeing everyone in almost a trance like state just sitting there putting money after money in these machines. They didnt even look away for a single second. Freaked me out first time i saw that. Maybe we are being subjected to something but it may be on a more invisible level.

yeah I went to vegas for my 31st last november and I didn't feel difference or notice anything off. I think they do the air freshener thing becasue of all the cigarette smoke. I stayed at the Luxor also and loved that hotel.

"Are we being massively subjected to the World's Scariest Drug ?"

Probably zero chance of that. Easiest question to ask, does it show up in the blood stream? Las Vegas is all free will. I dont gamble so I can drink in a casino (never been to Las Vegas though) and not even be othered to gamble much.
