What was once an appropriate and interesting children's poem is now a rather perverted one. The author did not intend for such an interpretation of course. But time changes most things. 'The Owl and the Pussycat' is such an inappropriate poem today yet funny to those with a good sense of humor.

Be sure to watch the owl's tongue and what he is singing at the time.

We have a Nursery Rhyme in Australia called Kookuburra.

Kookaburra sits on an old gum tree,
Merry, merry king of the bush is he,
Laugh, kookaburra, laugh, kookaburra
Gay your life must be.

rhymeslyrics.blogspot.com.au...

They banned it because it contained the word gay.

The world is insane.

Meanwhile Lady Gaga is allowed to do what she likes and they thrash it on the radio.
