My physics proffesor is waaaaaaay too funny. We were joking about scientific secret societies and he said if he ever led one, it would be called that.

On a side note, do we know of any scientificly focused secret society?

Scientology

*ahem*, lol.

My clever joke for the night.

The Raelians, maybe, but they're not much of a secret.

Well, Sir Isaac Newton was a mason, as were the original members of the Royal Academy of Science... and masonry has as one of its pillars that Geometry is the foundation of all mathematics, so an argument could be made that masonry IS a scientific "secret" society...

Excellent, what is the most accurate Royal Academy of Science website?

I beleive this
www.royalsoc.ac.uk...
is their website, tho it says 'The Royal Society'. I don't think that one can reasonably call it a secret society tho. Its a scientific research group. They publish papers, the memberships aren't secret I don't think, and neither is anything else about it.

Yep, and if you reread my post, I never wrote that the Royal Society was a secret, but that the founding members were masons, masons that some folks call a secret society... it was a JOKE, a play on paranoia.

Hehehe, I couldn't help myself. I just had to make it:

www.guildportal.com...

Well, I only had it up for a while since I need to use it for an online game.
Feel free to look anyway.
