Experience?

A while back i was trying for astral projection. This was the first time i felt vibrations. I was failing (at this time i was feeling nothin except my bed) so i opened my eyes and just blinked once or twice. What i was trying to accomplish was creating an astral ball or vehicle in front of me.
As I blinked (if you have ever looked at the sun and blinked alot you know what i mean) i would see a ball in front of me. So i continued to blink and the faster i blinked the better i saw the ball. so i regained hope.
I tried to project again, and i saw the ball in my head. I controlled it down to my body and the closer the more i felt like i was feeling small vibrations. When the ball finnaly reached my body it went through my upper body. This was the warmest feeling/vibration i have ever felt. It was like bliss in the worst of situations. Then i opene my eyes blinked a couple times and the ball was gone.

If it is possible can someone tell me what happened?
This has been puzzling me for some time.
