One of the best PC vs Mac rants on the Youtubes....

Enjoy.

*As a disclaimer, I hate Macs... but I use them for video editing on a daily basis...*

This made me laugh hard! The "use it as a boat anchor"and "Jack Russel terrier" comments, to much! Thanks for making me laugh.

"Inter-Child" awesome!

Pretty good stuff there! I'm on a mac and can relate to the 'disappearing' stuff, save save save, but for layman, I still think Macs are more intuitive and user friendly. Also the whole virus thing is something to consider for the comparisons. Two years in and not one single virus/jammage and a minimum requirement for upgrades on software. Granted now, I am an artist/musician, so I may be a tad biased.
So yea, I still luvz me Mac.

peace

Star for the post.

I work my days on a MacBook...

And play at night on my custom Dv7 with a 2600k and a GTX560m with 8gigs of RAM.

Yeah yeah, say what you want about an HP...

But it was the only laptop case big enough to fit what I wanted...

Custom is the only way to go... Apple, or PC...

I've owned a computer since the days of the "Timex Sinclair", moved through Atari world and Co-Co2 then rode the PC train from a 286 all the way to a quad core p4, then I got an Imac 27" desktop. In all my years of working with computers, the Imac was the worst experience I'd had to date with a computer. If you asked me what went wrong, I'd simply say..."What didn't?" I sold the silly thing after owning it for seven months and am now back using an HP six core running win 7 and life rocks again!!!
I don't ever want to hear "They just go!" because I know it's not always the case....Good rant vid

Just look at my gaming system specs.

I'm not knocking Mac for their editing capabilities...

Just knocking them for everything else.

Seriously... Mac these days is a bust.

If you don't have a Sandy Bridge... you don't know what performance is...

And this is coming from a guy who tried to OC the Bulldozer with straight LN. I love pushing the envelope... but Mac is YEARS behind the ballgame.

I'm going to go against the grain here and say that I've spent a bit of time using Macs at school, while always preaching that PCs are the way to go because Macs are just shiny toys to those who can afford such things. That was until I went through 3 high end PCs in two years. I'm not hard on my computers by any stretch of the word, I wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary with them. After my Viao killed over I decided to try something new and bought a MacBook Pro and I will never put my hands on another PC again.

I guess we just all like what we like, right?

This has to be the most accurate PC vs Mac video, pretty funny too:

Linux beats PC vs Mac all the time

A Sony Vaio?

And you are judging that against a Mac?

No offense my friend, but maybe you should have done more research before buying a name...

That is like comparing an Alienware vs a custom PC...

In bragging rights it looks good... in practical applications, it's next to worthless.

Again, no offense to you, please.

Well pardon my superficialness, but I can hardly pay attention to what is being said because of the WI gal's sexy playfulness.
Geez, thanks for reminding me how much of a man I am!

Again, I do my daily business on a MacBook...

But, literally everything else, is better on my PC.

Even my screen capturing on my HD HP screen is better than my Mac when I am recording videos for the security firms I contract through.

It is all really preference. I submitted this as a laugh.

Don't take topics so seriously...

Man I made that crappy gif for my LiveJournal YEARS ago. But it still valid.
I can honestly say I have NO idea how to do ANYTHING on a non-Mac anymore. But mind you, the only reason I started with Macs 15 years ago was because I kept on getting hand-me-downs from my brother who only used them. I guess they grew on me.
Although I am still looking for some rich guy to buy me new Apple shtuff... damn price still keeps going up.

My first laptop was a PowerBook 100.

Go ahead look it up.

I am not bashing Mac from a fanboy point of view... I still use Macs every day.

But the video is still relevant and still funny.

C'mon now...
