What's this guy afraid of!?

Formisano Update
Paola Harris and Richard Hoagland of Enterprise Mission gave an update on Dr. Formisano's
findings which he was presenting at an international Mars conference held in Italy this past weekend.

Harris reported that Formisano changed his lecture at the last minute
and did NOT present material he had previously published in an abstract indicating there was life on Mars.
"It's the dog that didn't bark," commented Hoagland, who was puzzled by the omission...

no one cares about possible life on mars or why this guy said he was going to announce that he had found signs of it then, all of a sudden, changed his mind?

No one cares because the motto is "deny evidence, accept proof". Its hard to get to point B without passing point A

It depends what kind of life he says is on Mars, let see...

Intelligent life found on Mars!

Or

Life found on Mars!

Im 90% sure there is life on Mars along with alot of other people but life could mean bacteria and other microscopic forms of life.

Now while this is still nice and if this is found then it would most likely be unknown and totally different from our kind of bacteria (hopefully)

This just wouldnt be good as finding good old "Grays" "Intelligent Life" which i doubt even if they did find any Intelligent life on Mars neither NASA or the Government would tell us as im sure they already know and they are not currently telling us anyway.

The reasons they wouldnt tell us well il leave that up to you, but if we did or are in contact with Intelligent Life then if the governments revealed this to us it would cause chaos and it would be the Biggest most important find in Human History!

There is no chance we (the public) will ever be told unless an Independance Day type event occured which im waiting anxiously for!

Well I dont think anyone has begun to discuss what kind of life there is, the thing was that he said there was indications of CURRENT life on Mars, not fossils from millions of years back when Mars was wet, as most mainstream scientists believe (if they believe in the first place, but not many deny the possibility).

As can easily be seen, saying that there is CURRENT life on Mars is quite different from claiming that there has been life on Mars.

We now know there was at one point water on Mars, But unlikely today, but maybe underground (fingers crossed).

Does anyone know if there is any life on earth that can exist without the need for water?

Also markjaxson, If an "Independence Day" did happen, humans would be crushed, unless you think were gonna download a virus into the mothership
, But I think aliens that can fly around the galaxy is a little more advanced then them just killing us for our world or something like that.

If there was concrete proof that aliens exist today, I sont think people will go all crazy in chaos and start killing eachother, most people think its inconcievable that aliens dont exist. The chaos thing is just the government uses to convince other people to not tell the public.

BTW Assassin the reason this thread didn't get the response you hoped for is because the subject title isn't a good one. It doesn't jump out at you to read it. just some constructive critizism.

Well we know there is bacteria way beneath the earth (found in mines)...
And we know that completely dry areas also have bacteria.

But you should check out enterprisemission.com. They have some really interesting evidence that there is indeed liquid water on Mars, in the form of underground geysers. For example some stones have smooth holes under them, layers of sand and different concentrations pebbles running away from it, what I would consider impossible without something liquid affecting it. Edit: And obviously its not a remnant from when Mars was wet, since it should be wiped out by winds and sand. Well I dont know Mars weather, just seems logical.
