I checked out your thread. Sounds like the same phenomenon. This one was "upside down," with respect to the sun, too.

Not sure what you mean by "upside down" to the sun, but I have never seen this happen before or since.

what i meant is instead of being like a concentric circle, it was reversed in that respect.

it's not a horrible photo.. it's an ok picture.. it's nothing special though.. rainbows don't require rain obviously, just moisture ..
