Making a Better world.

The main advantage of capitalism over communism is that there are a greater number of people at the top. This is because people are inherently corrupt. Therefore should a better world be created by limiting the maximum salary , and making it a maximum multiple of the smallest.

It logically makes sense that it should be that way, no one person should be able to amass so much wealth in such a short period of time. Seriously, like, 20x the average salary is enough for everything you could ever dream of.


But you'll have people say "but they earn that money", depends on the person we're talking about.

I think that's a short term view to be honest. Is not the pinnacle of Capitalism "the survival of the fittest" in that one company will eventually run everything, taking the wealth for the very few.. again.

They're all flawed systems, but it would be a better idea as you suggest to let people be wealthy but not at the expense of others. Nobody could possibly need billions in personal wealth and although yes, they did earn it, why not use some of it to reward the very country and people who put you there.

In many places now there is a minimum wage which is supposed to be the lowest limit needed to fund a lifestyle of any kind, it would make perfect sense to have this at the top end also.
