Dreanliner jet "draws" Boeing logo across North America

I took a brief look in the search for this topic but I thought it was interesting with those who love the topic of contrails. This isn't the first time Boeing has done "sky drawings" either as the article has stated.

Boeing conducted another sky drawing back in August, reports Wired, when the 747-8 Freighter outlined a "747" over several states. The BBC reported on the Dreamliner's maiden commercial voyage last October, traveling from Tokyo to Hong Kong

If these "drawings" aren't visible to the naked eye then what's the point in them? Thoughts?

They needed an endurance test anyway, the pilots just got creative.

Pics or it didnt happen!!

Jk I beleive.. s&f for you.

It is kind of odd... Why go through all the trouble with flight planning just for kicks? I

would say neato if it was visible from the ground.

They're doing a test flight of the maximum endurance they have with their new 787. I find it hard to understand how it's a waste of time when it's a necessity to test flight all parts of an aircraft.

Waste of resources? What resources did they waste, exactly? I mean the fuel was going to be expended anyway.

I applaud Boeing, hopefully the majority of the flight wasn't in IFR/IMC conditions.
