Yeah I've already opened it in Notepad++ just to see what it looked like. I also tried doing a search but it's really laggy, even with my Phenom II X4 processor. So it seems that a more fine tuned application is in order. Something that will present me with all the titles that match any words in my search, and will allow me to simply click on any of the results and open it straight up with my torrent software. I'll share a link to the app when I get it done.

Tribler makes all this moot anyhow, and I'm sure we'll have several Tribler-like apps in the near future. No more seeding files on a server, no more centralized torrent-searching. All can be done strictly via P2P.

Awesome! It was only a few weeks ago I suggested something exactly like that:

Could all the seeders not just remove all their torrents from their manager the day before, and then re-connect them for seeding the day after?

I'd venture to guess that 50% of seeders don't know that they are seeding. There are alot of folks out there that don't explore how torrent clients work, I know alot of people that don't know that they can access their downloads from 'my computer' they think they have to go through their torrent app to get to their downloads.

I cannot even get link to the file. Says server not available. We just had a major outage here and its starting to look like a filter in place. Oh well. Would have liked to seen that. If there is another place to d/l it, can it be linked here? or maybe give me a post?

Aren't they supposed to work from torrent client? Not from browsers.

umm guys chrome and firefox are not bittorrent or magnet clients

it obviously said that any torrent with MORE THAN 10 users will be deleted, not converted to magnet links. the magnet links are there anyway. torrents with less than 10 users won't be affected at all.

I thought after Megaupload Icefilms.info would not be running, but i was wrong when people were uploading shows and movies onto 2shared and RapidShare.

Pirate Bay wont shut down over this, plus i thought they hosted their servers in an undisclosed place in a cave or something???

Your headline was a little scary seeing as how btjunkie tossed in the towel. I am glad to see TPB is going the other way. I get some of the best copyright free documentaries from the 70s and 80s through torrents. I would not know where else to find them or what to do with the original VHS they were put out on.
