It's said that approximately one in three of us will have some form of cancer at some point, although not necessarily fatal. But why worry about it? There are a so many other possible ways in which we may be taken out of this world, there is not much to be gained by thinking about it too much. It is healthy to respect the fact that we are all mortal, and acknowledge death's inevitability, but we should try to focus on living whilst we are alive; we only live once, so make the most of the time we have here.

There are too many risk variables to answer that question outright. Do you have a family history of cancer? Do you eat a lot of processed, junky foods? Do you avoid exercise like the plague? Are you exposed to a variety of environmental toxins? Did you vacation this past summer by the Fukushima Daiichi power plant in Japan?

Look up risk factors and you may get a clearer sense of what your chances are.
