This may be seen as a smack in the face for the Israeli's. One minute the U.S. drops their support for Palestine through UNICEF, and the next their supporting a massive infrastructure aid project...Why would the U.S. support and fund so much infrastructure in Palestine if they weren't going to soon be a full fledged U.N. member?

Source

The first round of Palestinian infrastructure contracts worth upwards of $750 million was awarded this week by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

The Infrastructure Needs Project Phase II (Solicitation #RFP294-2010-108), as the USAID endeavor is known, will help the Palestinians build or improve public works initially in the West Bank and, "if conditions permit, in Gaza" at a later time.

Both the US and Israel will soon hand power to their puppet king abdullah of jordan. He is a true israel supporter and one of the very few arab leaders who recognises Israel as a state. Soon they will use him to create a crescent around Israel. I'm sure of the fact that they will hand him palestine in the 67 borders, and they will give syria too once assad is gone, and then perhaps Lebanon. The aim is to maike him look like the hero, so expect him to succeed in the coming months. They will bring back the false caliphate in the face of Iran and the shia with their call for the awaited Mahdi. It has already been prophesied by the prophet muhammed.

Interesting! However, I am more interested as to why this $58 million isn't being used for our own (USA) infrastructure?! A lot of other Americans are also sick and tired of taxpayers' dollars being used to prop up other nations while our nation is crumbling...
