Israeli politician throws water at colleague in parliament! The incident occurred during an Education Committee debate in parliament over the retrenchment of a principle of an Israeli-Arab school in southern Israel, who took students to a march for human rights in Tel Aviv last month.

She should be nominated an Oscar for that dramatic departure.

Nice!

They need more people there, who are passionate about human rights.
As a matter of fact, we do too.
Were they speaking Russian?

I think they were speaking hebrew but I'm not a language specialist so maybe someone else on this forum can tell?

Methinks it was Hebrew, which would make sense, but I can hear the similarity as well

No the male politician told the female politician to Shut up. That is what set her off.

Nice way of doing a Sharron Osborne
Someone annoys you, throw a glass of water in their face.

Classic move.

So she is banned for flinging a glass of water in the face of a sexist pig who treats her like 2nd class and who disrespects a fellow Member of that committee by telling them to shut up.

Double Standards.

Eh, no. She was banned cause it was his turn to talk and she continuously interrupted him.

This is parliament, not a playground. It was his turn to speak.

If it happened in the UK, and it was a ministers turn to speak and someone continously interrupted, the same would happen.

She's done it before, again to an Israeli-Arab minister. Michaeli also told the YNet Web site that the country shouldn’t be represented in the Eurovision Song Contest by a singer who “looks Arab,”

I'm sure the Knesset wouldn't ban her if she wasn't out of order, no?
