In its 2010 Human Rights Report about Syria, the US State department said Syria's elections have not been fair in the past.

"Although the constitution provides the right for citizens to peacefully change their government through elections, in practice they did not have that right because elections were neither free nor fair"

Sounds familiar doesn't it. Its disheartening to see how many people don't realize our elections for our President are really not in our hands at all. Its in the banks. The root of all evil.

Illusion is everywhere. People like to hold onto their fairest beliefs. They don't want to give up that illusion of having things better than others. People will go a long way to feel safe and happy.

I knew over thirty years ago that we Americans were living a lie. I only saw it really for what it was when I came to Europe in 1982. Hit me square in the face. There was no going back after that. I've been here since.
